Who we are

This website (shcplans.com and quote.shcplans.com) is run by Rick Liuag Insurance & Financial Services, a trading name of Liuag Enterprises Inc, 4468 Signature Dr, Corona, CA 92883 (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at info@shcplans.com or by calling 833-742-7526 (toll free).

What we collect

• Details you give us: your name, mobile number, email address, birth year, and any answers you give in our short quiz or on a call with Rick.
• Booking details: the date and time of any call you book, and the Zoom link for it.
• Friend referrals: if you recommend a friend, the name and phone number (and email, if given) you share with us.
• Website data: basic technical information such as pages visited, device and browser type, collected by cookies and similar tools to keep the site working and understand how it is used.
• Visitor identification: see “Website analytics and visitor identification” below.

How we use your information

• To answer your enquiry and show whether you may qualify for a plan.
• To book, confirm and remind you about calls with Rick.
• To follow up about the health plan options you asked about.
• To keep records required of licensed insurance agents.
• To improve our website and service.

Text messages (SMS)

If you tick the box to receive text messages, we will text you about your enquiry and appointment, for example booking confirmations, reminders and follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying any product or service.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to any third party. The categories of sharing described below exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Website analytics and visitor identification

Our homepage uses a third-party analytics and visitor identification service, IDPixel. It uses cookies and similar technology to collect information such as your IP address, browser and device details, the pages you visit and when. The provider may match this with contact or business information it already holds, so that we can understand who visits our website and, where the law allows, follow up about our services.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you would like us not to contact you as a result of a website visit, or to delete any information we hold from it, email info@shcplans.com or call 833-742-7526.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it:

• With the service providers that run our systems on our behalf (for example our customer management, scheduling, email, text messaging, video call, and website analytics and visitor identification software). They may only use it to provide those services to us.
• With an insurance company or plan provider (such as SHC Benefits) only when you ask us to get you a quote or help you enrol.
• When the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

Your California privacy rights

If you live in California you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information (we do not sell your information or share it for cross-context advertising; you can also ask us to stop using website visitor identification for you). We will not treat you differently for using these rights. To make a request, email info@shcplans.com or call 833-742-7526. We may need to confirm your identity first.

How long we keep it and how we protect it

We keep your information only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires for insurance records. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it, but no system is completely secure.

Children

This website is not intended for anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
